I really enjoyed the google tools. I think that my favorite is Google Earth. I love to share this with my students. This lets them see maps in action.
The other one that I explored was iGoogle. I set up my page and found that it was quick and easy to change settings to things that are interesting to me. I like that I can add all kinds of gadgets to my page. I have lots of quotes for the day and I can keep an online pet here. And we all know how I feel about having online pets.
I did try playing around with the Google Doc. As cool as it seemed at first, I think it will take a little more playing around with it to be able to use it. Also I don't think that it would be something that my 2nd graders could use.
